This playbook offers a toolkit for school leaders navigating the immediate and ongoing challenges of fire recovery.
Drawing on school leader experiences during the 2018 Camp Fire in Paradise, California, we have compiled essential resources and practical tools to help you care for yourself, your school, and your community before, during, immediately after, and in the recovery phase of tragic fire incidents. Although our focus is on leaders in smaller LEAs, we hope it providew actionable steps, heartfelt support, and reassurance that recovery is possible. We know how overwhelming it can feel, but you don’t have to face this alone.
